The advantages offered by the AP-303 encompass a wide array of features:

• Unified AP Capability

  • This AP supports deployment either with or without a controller. The 303 Series access points are adaptable for both controller-based (ArubaOS) or controller-less (InstantOS) deployment modes.

• Dual Radio 2×2 802.11ac Access Point with Multi-User MIMO (wave 2)

  • It facilitates speeds of up to 867Mbps in the 5GHz band (with 2SS/VHT80 client devices) and up to 300Mbps in the 2.4GHz band (with 2SS/HT40 clients).

• Integrated Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) Radio

  • Empowers location-based services by enabling BLE-enabled mobile devices to receive signals from multiple Aruba Beacons concurrently.
  • Additionally, it enables asset tracking when paired with Aruba Asset Tags.

• Advanced Cellular Coexistence (ACC)

  • This feature minimizes interference arising from 3G/4G cellular networks, distributed antenna systems, and commercial small cell/femtocell equipment.

• Quality of Service for Unified Communications Applications

  • Offers support for priority handling and policy enforcement concerning unified communication apps such as Skype for Business, encompassing encrypted videoconferencing, voice, chat, and desktop sharing.

• Aruba AppRF Technology

  • Leverages deep packet inspection to categorize, block, prioritize, or limit bandwidth for over 2,500 enterprise apps or groups of apps.

• RF Management – Adaptive Radio Management (ARM) Technology with AirMatch

  • Automatically assigns channel, width, and power settings based on the environment and client density.
  • Provides airtime fairness and ensures APs avoid all sources of RF interference to deliver reliable WLANs.
  • Offers configurable options for part-time or dedicated air monitoring, spectrum analysis, VPN tunnels, and wireless mesh connections.

• Spectrum Analysis

  • Employs a spectrum analyzer for part-time or dedicated air monitoring to identify RF interference sources across the 2.4GHz and 5GHz radio bands, spanning from HT20 through VHT80 operation.

• Aruba Secure Core

  • Device assurance through the use of Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for secure storage of credentials and keys, along with secure boot.
  • Integrated wireless intrusion protection that provides threat mitigation, eliminating the necessity for separate RF sensors and security appliances.
  • IP reputation and security services that identify, classify, and block malicious files, URLs, and IPs, offering comprehensive protection against advanced online threats.
